Wouldn’t it be loverly?

We sometimes hear from students on fashion courses who need something knitted to their own design. A couple of months ago we were approached by Hayley, a student at Salford University, who commissioned us to make two very fluffy angora jumpers made from the finest Italian wool.

It took a few emails and chats over the phone, plus lots of pictures and patterns going back and forth, but it’s all part of our service. We’ll be sharing some of these sketches soon so you can see the work we put into our bespoke knitting service, from choosing the right yarn to working out every detail.

We eventually delivered the goods and managed to create the two tops she wanted: two cropped angora jumpers, one without sleeves, and both to wear over blouses.

We were so pleased to receive this thank you note from her.

These jumpers are only a small part of Hayley’s collection and we all wish her the very best of luck for the future.

That’s all the news today for this edition of the Weekly Parlour Post. The best way to stay informed is to like our page on Facebook or follow our tweets on Twitter.
