Bespoke knitting 2

Hayley, a student from Salford University, approached me to make two ‘fluffy’ jumpers for her final assessment. As is often the case, we never seem to have much time between the Tutor giving the OK to get things made and the deadline for pieces to be handed in.

It was crazy knitting and late nights, but Hayley had her own drawings, produced colour pictures and had a clear idea of what she wanted. We exchanged ideas until we got it right and I made the patterns to knit the two cropped angora jumpers as shown below.

The jumpers were a big success for both of us. Hayley was awarded a 2.1 on her collection and sent us these photos from the fashion show.

We were so chuffed to receive this message:

A massive thank you for my jumpers, they look amazing and everyone has commented on how loverly they are.

It did take a few emails and chats over the phone, plus lots of pictures and patterns going back and forth, but it’s all part of our bespoke service. If you have an idea for something extra special, all you need to do is contact us!
